The Launchpad X was in the studio in Florida and is now back in the workflow. It works very well with loop-based projects and is seamless in Logic Pro. In Reaper, it is a means to loop regions and to use as a sophisticated control surface. Lastly, it is great for live performance triggering. A solid piece of kit.
